A community for Irish Fitness Professionals. Helping them do more to better themselves & their industry.  The Harsh Truth
Being a great trainer doesn't guarantee success.

Not if you can't get committed clients to actually work with you for the right price.

So you need to become a...

marketer + sales person + accountant + banker
...whilst coaching clients, eating quality food and training yourself.

That's a lot to take on.

And pressure is for tyres and footballs. Not fitness professionals.

At best, you're facing a significant challenge.

At worst, a nightmare.

Realistically, with the fitness industry as competitive as it is, the odds are stacked against you and you're most likely to fail.

The aim of IrishFitPros is to drastically reduce those odds and give passionate fitness professionals the tools they need to  change lives and increase their income.

8 solid pieces of advice for the week ahead 🙌🏻 . Repost @ironmacfitness with @repostapp. ・・・ 8 rules for life and at best tough to adhere to considering the very nature of who and what we are as humans.... Pretty sure that a few of these will resonate with you- certainly one or two for me at present. Onwards......always a little further.

This is a feijoa. Before coming to New Zealand, I'd never seen or heard of a feijoa. But they're kind of a big deal over here. As in you can get them everywhere. And they're damn delicious as a fruity snack. Why am I telling you this? Because it's amazing what you can uncover when you leave the familiar behind and start exploring the unknown. Even something as small and simple as a new favourite fruit. Who knows when the feijoa would become available mainstream in Ireland, if ever. I might never have had the chance to try it if I hadn't decided to explore the world and all it has to offer ✈️

This may just be one of my favourite quotes ever 🙌🏻 The level of truth behind it is a tad overwhelming. I wholeheartedly believe that hiring a personal trainer and learning what my body is capable of allowed me to get my life back. I had more confidence in myself and my abilities, I thrived at work and socially, and I had a renewed interest in embracing all of the wonderful opportunities life presented to me. Your mental health is reliant on your physical health. So get active - move your body, open up your mind, and embrace your life. #getactive #happy #love #life #adventure #travel #newzealand #nz #explore #mondaymotivation #motivationmonday

This is a portrayal of my super sad face (because Instagram isn't ready for my real life sad face 😳) Unfortunately, for the first time ever, I'm having to cancel an IrishFitPros event. It's very disappointing for myself & Primal Piggy, our incredible speakers Body For You & Lovett Nutrition, and everyone who registered to attend, but sadly we just couldn't get enough tickets sold to justify holding tomorrow's Nutritional Strategies workshop. It's not all bad news though. There were significant lessons learned during the past few weeks, as well as some interesting and idea provoking conversations. I thoroughly enjoyed preparing for this workshop, and while it's not going ahead this time, the hard work put in has provided IrishFitPros with a lot of opportunities for the future. As Sarah from The Better Life Project says "chin up, heels in". At least I think that's how her saying goes...it refers to squatting generally but I feel in this instance it's telling me to hold my head high and keep my feet firmly on the ground as IrishFitPros moves forward.
