Galway Aquathon Festival is the featured club race of Galway Triathlon Club, taking place in Salthill on July 11th. Register on www.triathlonireland.com The Galway Aquathon Festival now in its 5th Year makes a welcome return to Grattan Beach in Salthill. Featuring the National Long Course Aquathalon Championships and the National Children's Aquathalon Championships as well as a Short course event on the day there is something for all athletes of all abilities and ages.

Swimming in Galway Bay and running along the Salthill seafront this event continues to grow in popularity! Proudly supported by local Galway businesses, this year's event is already shaping up to be one of the best yet.

Race Distances are as follows
Long course - 2K Swim & 10k Run
Short course - 1k Swim & 5K Run
Children's events - various swim and run distances for children from the ages of 8 - 15.
