Here is the full (in High Definition!) lecture from last month on our Licenced Metal Detection survey of the 1798 Battlefield at Vinegar Hill, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, forming part of The Longest Day Project which is examining in detail the archaeology of the battle. The survey was carried out by an international research team (including Earthsound's Ciarán Davis and Darren Regan, as well as IT Sligo, Rubicon Heritage, Cotswold Archaeology and the 1798 Interpretation Centre), funded by Wexford County Council. Earthsound is in the news! We spent February to April 2017 in Ballyvourney, Co. Cork surveying ahead of the N22 upgrade from Macroom to Ballincollig.
