Mid-West Osteopaths was established in 2003. Our patients include those with work or sport related injuries, older people as well as mothers and babies.
Victoria Large founded Mid-West Osteopaths in 2003 and over the 10 years since has run clinics in Castlebar, Westport, Castlerea and Ballina. In October 2012 Una Rice joined the practice and moved into a lovely room provided by Deborah at Demure in Castlebar. The clinic is open there Tuesday to Friday.
The most common conditions treated by osteopaths are:
back and neck pain
shoulder and arm problems
pelvis, hip and leg problems
sports and other injuries
However patients have found osteopathy beneficial for many other conditions including arthritic pain and immobility, pregnancy related back and pelvic pain, babies with colic or reflux.
