Saturday 23/01 at 11:00 our 3 week hip opening Yoga sequence session will be instructed by Milla! This will be great for people of all levels to join and start working to becoming a supple leopard in this 3 week self practice yoga hour. If you have your own mat please bring it along. Non Asphodel members are welcome to join for a $200hkd drop in.

''Hatha Beginners: defining a solid base for movements with Hip Opening Poses Hips are often the base of support for movements in Crossfit, Yoga Poses (Asana), or simple day-to-day movements. Supple hips decrease the load and stress on the spine. It also makes your movements more fluid and agile, and improves circulation to your legs. In yogic teachings, hip opening Asana also releases negative emotions stored in the pelvis by moving life forces (prana) through that area. The resulting energetic shift gives us freedom in our body and in our expressions. For this series of 3 weekly yoga classes, we'll examine a sequence of poses that opens the hip in active and restorative ways. Each week we'll gently progress into more advance poses. The intention is for each practitioner to have a collection of poses that they can practice pre and/ or post WOD in a safe way in order to improve mobility or release tension.''
