Oscar Coggins had a great last race of the season in South Korea. Was his first time scoring points in a World Cup event and a big improvement from last year coming in 27th place. He will be taking 2 weeks off training now to end the year. Well done.

Only 12 days until Simon's iconic HK360 swim around Hong Kong Island! It takes an incredible type of person to even consider an expedition such as this. We are proud of be the coaching partner for the swim. Simon will be attempting a solo swim circumnavigation of Hong Kong Island on November 11, 2017. The swim aims to raise 1 million HKD for Splash Foundation, a non-for-profit swim school for the under-resourced communities in Hong Kong. The HK360 Swim, if successful, will set a new world record for swimming the 45 kilometres around Hong Kong Island unassisted and without stopping. With tides, currents, marine traffic and potentially adverse weather conditions, the swim will take anywhere between 13 and 18 hours. The swim will start in the early hours of the morning at Sai Wan Swimming Shed near Kennedy Town, and finish there in the late afternoon. Details of how to watch the swim live, and on social media to come soon! Splash will have helped over 1,000 adults and young people learn to swim and be water safe by the end of the year. http://www.scmp.com/sport/hong-kong/article/2117097/i-keep-telling-myself-its-walk-park-simon-holliday-swimming-45km

Another two wins over the weekend for Swiss. Been racing a lot recently, great attitude to training and growing in confidence. We gave him Brooks athlete of the month for October. Keep up the good work.

Training for the Repulse Bay Triple this morning at our Thursday AM OWS session. We did a half distance version of the race this morning as a warm up, but with much shorter rest between each rep. Repulse Bay Triple is still open for registration until tomorrow. It’s part of the Hong Kong Beach Festival, which also includes a dodge ball, sandcastle building, Water Polo and SUP Polo. Congrats to Oscar for his result at the HKITU yesterday. First HK athlete over the line making him the National Champion. Was 2nd junior and 11th overall. Wasn't an outstanding race but good enough to reach our goal as being first HK over the line. Off to South Korea for a World Cup race next weekend then end of season break. Well done mate

Great press conference today at the Four Sessons for the HK360. Look out for stories in the local media over the next few days about the swim. 26 is extremely proud to be the coaching partner for the swim. Henry, 26, and the whole HK360 team are working hard to get everything in place to support Simon on his epic journey around the island! Just over 3 weeks until Simon swims 45km around Hong Kong island in support of Splash foundation. Swim is planned for November 11th, start time TBC, but looks like it will be very early in the morning! Thanks to everyone involved in organising, those who have sponsored and supported Simon and Splash in any way. Tough day out for Kate Rutherford and Olaf Kasten in Hawaii. Not the results they deserve for the amount of focus and preparation put into the build up. Been a tough year for both on several levels and it didn't come together on race day. Will always be champions to me and we will celebrate this weekend as if they had won. If you don't win the race, win the after party. Andrew
