facebook.comPoint of View When someone disbelieves us, we usually argue back and try to prove our point. Yet we find that the more we talk, the less people listen. Unable to convince them, we end up frustrated. Instead, when someone challenges my words, I should think about whether they might be right. Rather than stubbornly clinging to my point of view, I could embrace this as an opportunity to learn. Even if I am correct in my thinking, if I become able to understand someone else's point of view without getting angry or refusing to listen, I become tolerant.

Thought of the Day :) Honesty does not mean simply speaking your mind. Honesty means to be very clear about everything going on inside you. Where there is honesty, feelings become pure and clean. Honesty is where there are no other thoughts or feelings inside, other than those that God himself would have. Such clarity is reflected in your words; they will be filled with the power of truth, and spoken with ease and without hesitation. The genuine honesty cultivated within you is what will reach out and touch others.

A Six week course in Mediation
Every passing moment is like a passing act in a play. Each of us are the actors playing out parts very well. An actor is never focused on another actors part, continually criticizing it. He just gets on with his own part, playing it as best he can. This Drama of Life is eternal, predestined and accurate. Whatever anybody else says and does is their role, not mine. My task is to play my part right. Right thoughts restore rightness to the whole play. Practice detaching yourself from your role and experiencing the truth, behind the role and you will find yourself loving every instant of your role and the Drama, too.
Procrastination is not only the thief of time, it is the creator of subtle inner tension. You know you are cheating yourself. There are three secrets to overcoming procrastination. One, don't wait till you feel like doing it - the feeling will come only when you start doing it. Two, list all the things you have to do and then prioritise the list. Three, create a vision of the result and be motivated by the vision of the outcome, not the thought of the process. And the options to those ideas? One - ask for help. Two - completely forget about it, you don't have to do anything! Three - if there is anything you can learn from the process then see it is action learning.
