The program continued on Saturday morning with workshops at the host hotel. First to make his presentation was Rick Rodriguez introducing his Pilon cigar. Second workshop was held by World Ambassador of Havana Club Alexandr Gorokhovskiy with rum tasting who made presentation of Havana Club Union, together with Nadalina pralines. Our sponsor Cuervo y Sobrinos (Maria Luisa Giannini & Sonia Campoli) made presentation of their new line of watches and after that we had the presentation by Reinhold Widmayer from Cigar Journal. After welcome drink sponsored by Havana Club guest had the opportunity to enjoy Roman style dinner at the beautiful terrace of the oldest city hotel - hotel Hotel "Park" Split. Dinner was sponsored by our long time partner Jeremy Casdagli and his Bespoke cigars. For the first time, the new Bespoke cigar Spalato was presented. It is the first cigar named after city of Split where the idea of Cigar Smoking World Championship was born. Dear Ladies and Gentleman after 24 qualification events from all around the World and more than 1100 people who was participated in whole 2017 CSWC season, Grand Final of Cigar Smoking World Championship provided to us the best of the best ones , the name of the New World Champion - Mr. Alexander Shagay, Russia!! He achieved what was consider unreachable - with his smoking time of 3 hours and 6 minutes he destroyed all others, he took title of World Champion and title of Owner of the World Record. He also succeeded to be first one in history who engraved his name twice on World Champion Trophy - 2013 and 2017 Cigar Smoking World Championship organization board congratulate to him for this amazing result!!
