Highlights of the 2017 Three Shadows Photography Award 2017三影堂摄影奖集锦 On the Sunday, April 16th 2017, the opening ceremony of the 2017 Three Shadows Photography Award was turned into a real party for photography. Liang Xiu良秀 won the Three Shadows Photography Award. Zhang Zhizhou张之洲 won the Shiseido Photographer Prize. On the Sunday morning, Simon Baker, senior curator of the Tate Modern Museum, gave a lecture on Tate Modern’s photography collection and exhibitions for the Chinese audience. It was followed by the international jury’s brilliant discussion on the current photography in the West and the East : Thomas Ruff, Simon Baker, Feng Boyi, Rongrong contributed respectively their working and personal experiences to the topic. On the same day, Mika Ninagawa inaugurated her solo exhibition in the Three Shadows Photography Center. Shiseido team presented their art supporting activities since a century ago. Xiao He’s songs, Chinese new folk singer, echoed in the yard of the Center at the end of the opening ceremony.
