Comfort Keepers of Windsor and Essex County
Description
Comfort Keepers provides Personal Care, Interactive Home Assistance and Nursing Our approach to home health care is like no other. We know that in order to improve an individual's quality of life, physical, mental, social and emotional stimulation must all be included. Our specially trained caregivers, whom we refer to as Comfort Keepers, learn how to transform everyday activities into opportunities to exercise one's mind, body and memories. We call this system Interactive Caregiving™ and it helps develop a true friendship between the Comfort Keeper and the person they support, it preserves the individual's independence and it contributes to a better life.
There are three main factors that may lead to seniors losing their independence. Falls, that lead to hospitalization, medication miss-management and under or mal-nutrition. Comfort Keepers can support seniors wherever they may be staying to reduce the incidents of each of these factors.
Comfort Keepers is able to assist seniors, people with disabilities, people recovering from an injury or illness and new mothers. We assist at home, in hospitals, in retirement/long term residences, at schools or wherever you may wish.
We provide companionship, housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing, toileting, foot care, transportation and much more.
We also have a line of safety devices including an emergency response system, an automated medication dispenser, floor sensors, window/door contacts and carbon monoxide/smoke detectors which are all monitored 24 hours per day.
