Elder in the Making - Free Screening June 19
Elder in the Making is an informative exposé into the complexity of Aboriginal Culture and the historical Treaty 7 agreement, which gave the First Nations in Southern Alberta a reserve but left them without the ownership rights to their traditional territory. The film explores the culture of the Blackfoot Nation, and highlights the importance of the Making Treaty 7 Cultural Society, a group of musicians, artists, elders, and playwrights trying to bring the stories of First Nations to the forefront.

Who should attend? Alberta based companies in the Oil & Gas Sector looking to expand their markets and operating in the fields of oil sands technology and services, software solutions, occupational health and safety, oilfield equipment, field services, manufacturing, environmental, transportation, information and communications, valves, gauges, measurement, engineering and construction, research and education, automation and data solutions.
