This is the only picture I have from FrostFit this year. It was another awesome weekend put on by @crossfitwinnipeg thank you to all the volunteers and support that was given to all the athletes. As always it was great to see athletes from all over Manitoba competing. There were some new, some young and some well used athletes that just won’t quit (which is awesome) Thank you to all of our Starke family and friends that came to hang out and cheer us on throughout the weekend. Your faces in the crowd and voices in our ears help more than you know. A big thank you goes out to all of our athletes that stepped up to the plate and came to compete. This is a sport where we don’t know exactly what we’ll be doing in-front of a crowd of people. We’re signing up to compete in the “unknown” and for that you should all be proud of yourselves. You were all amazing to compete alongside over the weekend and I’m lucky to have you all as athletes, coaches and friends. It hasn’t yet been a day and I’m looking forward to the next Starke crew that I’ll be competing alongside at the next competition. Coach Caitlin giving Josh a great modification for Dumbbell cleans. If an athlete can’t get into a good bottom position, you dont go as low or you bring the ground up a little. With this variation Josh can maintain a neutral spine in the bottom position and work on moving better. Better coaches make better athletes.
