The School of Cadence Ballet offers children and professional dancers classes in ballet, pointe, variations, pas de deux, men's classes, contemporary ballet, contemporary jazz, contemporary, modern, improvisation, jazz, hip-hop, creative movement, acro and body conditioning. S.C.B is home to Cadence Ballet and it’s three companies, which enables S.C.B
to offer professional dance expertise to all levels of dancers.
The School of Cadence Ballet is quickly becoming a place where both dancers and parents can see tangible improvement in the student’s level both technically and artistically. The carefully designed program ensures that the dancers receive the right exposure and versatility, giving them the best chance at a successful career. The result is a school full of happy and engaged dancers who are improving their grace, work ethic, love of dance, and artistic maturity right before your eyes while being recognized for this on an international level.
Students have been accepted to international schools such as the Royal Ballet School (London), The Paris Opera Ballet School (Paris), The Bolshoi Ballet (Moscow), San Francisco Ballet School (San Francisco), the American Ballet Theatre (New York), School of American Ballet (New York), have been received top awards and invitations to represent Canada at the finals at competitions such as the Youth American Grand Prix, American Dance Competition, American Dance Awards and the Canadian National Dance Championships. Professional dancers and former students are currently found performing in various companies throughout the world.

Bunions happen to good people. Blame it on genetics and poor shoes, but the reality is you need to take responsibility for the mobility and strength in your foot. When you overwork certain muscles to achieve balance and compensate for a weak core then bunions can worsen and get inflamed as your foot continues to roll inward on weight bearing. Then the knee and the hips start to tell you something is wrong. Taping the alignment helps to teach your foot where it should be and works more effectively than spacers in a pointe shoe. Then self-care to mobilize the joints in the foot, releasing sore muscles with a small ball daily and strengthening the foot intrinsic muscles will help to keep bunions from being a problem and your athletic and dance performance will improve pain free! Seeing a chiropractor can help to improve joint alignment.
