January 19, 2016. Today 8 proud members of the MacKinnon & Bowes team thoroughly enjoyed presenting a donation to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital for $1,500.00. This represented the proceeds from our Staff Christmas party fund raising evening for 2015. Bloorview is Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital focused on improving the lives of kids with disabilities. We are all very proud that this brings the total amount donated by everyone at MacKinnon & Bowes annually since the early 2000's to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation to over $15,000.00. This moves MacK & Bowes up in the $10,000 - $24,999.00 category as indicated on their donor cknowledgement wall. Holland Bloorview is a global leader in applied research for children's disabilities, teaching and family centered care. HBCH pioneers treatments, technologies, therapies and programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life. They help children with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, muscular dystrophy, amputation, epilepsy, spina bifida, arthritis, cleft-lip and palate, autism and other developmental disabilities. Keep Bloorview in mind for planned giving in 2016.
