**Farewell & Many Thanks To Paul de Jong!** It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Paul de Jong, program coordinator of the Humber Theatre Performance program, is leaving to pursue opportunities at Stratford and beyond. Paul has put his heart and soul into Humber for over 13 years and has been a friend and mentor to faculty and students alike. We will miss his presence in the halls of Birmingham, but wish him the very best in all that he does!

Attention creative writers!! Annick Press is seeking established and emerging writers and artists to tell true stories of their bravest moment for a YA non-fiction anthology. The format of the testimonial can be in one of many different mediums (prose, poetry, photography, illustration, etc.) as long as it tells the story of your teenage experience that tested your courage—the moment that was about to break you, but you took the opportunity to rise above challenging circumstances and chart a new, perhaps unanticipated, course in your life. We would like to hear from writers and artists with marginalized voices, and submissions from contributors of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and identities are encouraged. Please send a proposal of 500-600 words. The proposal should include a brief introduction, the moment you would examine, and how you rose above it. It should demonstrate your unique narrative voice. You should also discuss how you are planning to approach telling your story and why this is the best medium for your story in particular. Please attach your CV. We thank you for your proposal, but due to the volume of submissions, only those chosen will be contacted. Commissioned testimonials will be paid by honorarium. Please send your proposal and writing or art samples to Robbie Patterson: robbiep@annickpress.com. **Deadline: June 30, 2016**
