Many people aren’t aware that there are many different types of leadership styles. You may see yourself as being one style, but someone else may see you as another. I thought I would share a few with you to see what style you think you are. Directive: Is a leader who believes in the use of “orders.” They don’t give any direction. They only see it one way. Visionary: This leader provides an expectation and ideal vision on what is expected, which helps make things easier for the team to complete tasks or projects. Affiliative: This leader focuses on the people and the relationships in the team; they also focus on the individuals needs. Participative: This leader works along side the team and helps come up with goals and ideas. As well as providing boundaries for roles and expectations.
