Generis BackPack Program!!

Our backpack program is to motivate children, and to encourage education by supplying kids the educational materials they need for school. It is not uncommon for a school to share 1 pencil which interrupts learning. The children who receive the backpacks are orphans in difficult situations, and also children from extremely poor homes. They are selected by their teacher, and peers based on their positivity, motivation for learning, and helpfulness towards others. In this Album you see pictures of some of our local donors, and some of the children receiving their backpacks and supplies!! We would like to Thank all our donors for their Amazing Support and generosity !If you would like to donate, we will come to you, Its just that easy!! If you live in Simcoe County, Dufferin County, Peel, or surrounding areas we will come pick up any donations!! If you would rather donate money to support the program Click Donate on our Facebook page, All monetary donations are tax deductible, and we will provide a tax receipt! The age group is from ages 4-12, male or female, or for both! We are looking for educational supplies, small musical instruments, small sports gear, anything you would like to send to one of the children in a backpack or Tote bag. You can personalize what you would like to send! If you and your family would like to write a letter in the back pack, the children will write back! We personally take the bags to the children in the villages and orphanages, and we will post the photos of the children recieving your Back pack!! We also give supplys to the other children so no child feels left out! Our Goal is to try and support the orphans and kids in Shabwafar village in Zambia, World of Life Orphanage Home in Ruiru township Nairobi Kenya, Agape Academy in Mutumi Village Kenya. and orphans of Aveno Academy in Kibera Slum Kenya. Please Help support education for these children, to help them escape poverty! The Hillside School in Uganda!

The Hillside School in Uganda held a celebration of the progress and development of our new school building. They hosted members from the Vice President's office, a female member of parliament, and other local and state government representatives. The students performed, women from The Light to Read literacy program were acknowledged, and officials appreciated the contribution of Generis International to the education of orphans and vulnerable children throughout the district.
