Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet - Customized (Exclaim! TV Exclusive)
Happy Friday everone! So, were almost a month into 2016 I keep hearing how its been a bad month/year for music. We have lost some big names in the last few weeks, but overall I have to disagree, I think this is going to be a stellar year for shows and new music! Especially for rockers! First of all..Guns N' Roses and At the Drive In have both announced comebacks! Black Sabbath, ZZ Top, The Who, Springsteen and David Gilmour are all set to rock the GTA within the next couple weeks, With bands like Pearl jam, Santana and more set to come through this summer. Iggy Pop just announced a new album (with Queens of The Stone Age as his band!!) Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Monster Truck are set to drop albums in the next couple weeks as well. And there has been promise of new Tool, Radiohead and RHCP music! But the show Im most excited for has to be the legendary "Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet" (if you don't know em, check them out!!) They'll be playing with the Sadies at Lee's Palace! Go see some live music! <3https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpPlxaOYm3k
Funk BASS Backing Track (Gm)
I found a really cool youtube channel called "quistjam". The whole page is backing tracks for various instruments. Usually I find backing tracks to be very dull and hard to practice to, but these ones are really great. I hope you dig it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MPYRltRx3w
Hey Y'all! I just wanna let you all know that this page is to promote myself as a music teacher and a bass player, but I want it to be much more than just that! I will be posting about artists, articles, products and everything music related that I feel is important or worth checking out. Please feel free to send me anything that you think I would like (but keep it music or art related) Also feel free to comment on my posts, argue with me or whatever! I dig feedback. <3

David Bowie was truly unique and not afraid to take a risk with his music. He never followed trends, he made them. His influence can be heard all over the map, he literally covered gospel to gothic within his career. He influenced the punks, the new wave, psychedelic rockers, and the hipsters. He was truly special. <3 http://www.beyondretro.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/resized-Ziggy-Stardust-the-70s-12460498-228-393.jpg
