In case you missed the announcement on Sunday, the baby shower for Katherine Young has been postponed to 2pm (after the funeral) this Saturday.
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Wayne Mackenzie, the son of Jack and Charlene Mackenzie, passed away yesterday, Friday May 19th. This came as a quite a shock to the family and we ask that you would be in prayer for them during this time. Wayne had been dealing with some aches and pains and a bad cold over the past few weeks but this was completely unexpected. We know that God will be our source of strength during these difficult days. The family will be having two services. The first will be on Thursday May 25th in Summerside, PEI. It will be held at the Salvation Army Church on Pope road. Visitation is at 10:00am followed by the service at 11:00am. A lunch will follow. The second service will be held on Saturday May 27th at Saint John First Wesleyan Church on Boars Head road. Visitation will be at 10:00am followed by the service at 11:00am. A lunch will follow.
Scott Brownlee is a very talented musician in our Church. THIS SUNDAY, he's hosting an afternoon concert of movie music! It starts at 2pm, and it's pay-what-you-want.
