This is event is open to women age 16 and over and will be taught at the Az-Zahra Islamic Centre by female members of the Vancouver Police Department. It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Marhum Anwar Rashid, of Sharjah, UAE, who passed away on October 22, 2017, and will Insha-Allah be buried on Monday, October 23. Marhum passed away this morning leaving wife Farida Rashid, son Aliasghar Rashid, Brothers Bashir (Sharjah, UAE), Habib, Amir, Firoz (all of Vancouver), and sisters Batul Fazal (Mwanza, Tanzania), Masuma Fazal and Roshan Jaffer (both of Vancouver). He was also brother to Marhum Gulamabbas, and Marhuma Marzia Rashid (both of Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania). Please remember the Marhum in your du'as, give Sadaqah on his behalf, and recite Salatul-Wahshat. Please recite Surah Fateha.
