A parade to celebrate the holiday season...complete with marching bands, floats, firetrucks, many surprises along the way....and Santa Claus too!
Celebrating its 45th year, the Greater Fort Erie Santa Claus parade is a family favourite event hosted by the Historic Bridgeburg District and The Town of Fort Erie. Join in on this community tradition and come out and watch the parade, Saturday, November 18. The parade starts at 4PM.
ALONG WITH THE NEW TIME OF 4PM, THE PARADE HAS A NEW ROUTE. STARTING AT JARVIS AND KLAUCK STREETS, THE PARADE WILL TRAVEL UP JARVIS STREET, TURNING LEFT ONTO CENTRAL AVENUE. THE PARADE CONTINUES STRAIGHT DOWN CENTRAL AVENUE ENDING AT CATHERINE STREET.
There will be bands filling the route with music; entertainment by the Peacock School of Dance; a Karate exhibition; Christmas spirit coming from the community floats- schools, churches, local business and service groups, and watch for Santa to arrive straight from the North Pole.
Warner Ranch is ALWAYS a parade favourite as they showcase their beautiful BELGIAN HORSES.
Regional Limousine, part of the Bridgeburg Historic District, hosts its annual Elf Party from 12 -4 on parade day. Stop in before the parade, while you wait for the parade to make its way to the north end of town. FREE face painting, Annie The Clown, hot cocoa and popcorn, kids creation corner, games and colouring.
