We welcome to our campus the Honourable Bill Morneau, Minister of Finance with Dave Button, Vice-President (Administration), University of Regina. We had the unique opportunity to showcase progress of the College Avenue Campus Renewal Project. The Government of Canada provided a $27.6 million contribution from the Strategic Investment Fund to enable the University to move forward on renovating the College Building, Tower Building and the Conservatory façade.

Wrestling success at the 2017 Francophone Games in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Congratulations to U of R Cougar's wrestling coach Leo McGee who is head coach of Team Canada. The women's and men's teams have so far combined for seven gold, one silver and three bronze medals. Go Team Canada. Go Cougars!
