How will you invite quiet and solitude into your life today? "Tend to this inner silence as you would to a close friendship, and it will take care of you as you move through each day." @Dodie Davey Let us be together, let us eat together, let us be vital together; let us be radiating truth, radiating the light of life; never shall we denounce anyone, never entertain negativity. "Life isn't about knowing with more and more certainty. This is the invitation of our creative practice as well, to move more deeply into the mystery of things. I find that the older I get, the less sure I am about anything and the richer my life becomes as I make space for unknowing, expansiveness, and possibilities far beyond my capacity for imagining. Unconditional Willing to experience aloneness, I discover connection everywhere; Turning to face my fear, I meet the warrior who lives within; Opening to my loss, I gain the embrace of the universe; Surrendering into emptiness, I find fullness without end. Each condition I flee from pursues me, Each condition I welcome transforms me And becomes itself transformed Into its radiant jewel-like essence. I bow to the one who has made it so, Who has crafted this Master Game; To play it is purest delight; To honor its form — true devotion. © Jennifer Welwood http://jenniferwelwood.com/poetry/

What are you embracing right now? In this beauty offering about Embracing Vulnerability, Christine Valters Paintner shares her experience of grief and sickness, resting into vulnerability, and practicing yin yoga while washed with tears... "The “gift of tears” They are not about finding meaning in our pain and suffering. They do not give answers but instead call us to a deep attentiveness to the longings of our heart. They continue to flow until we drop our masks and self-deception and return to the source of our lives and longing. They are a sign that we have crossed a threshold into a profound sense of humility." http://abbeyofthearts.com/blog/2017/03/04/a-different-kind-of-fast-part-two-embrace-vulnerability/ Abbey of the Arts

Still, what I want in my life is to be willing to be dazzled— to cast aside the weight of facts and maybe even to float a little above this difficult world. - Mary Oliver
