The halls of Mapleridge are lined with these beautiful Remembrance Day tributes. Tomorrow is Remembrance Day and the Primary students (Early Learning Kindergarten to Grade 3) will be having a ceremony in the gym starting at 10:50. Each class will lay a wreath, several primary classes are doing poems, songs and readings and of course the 2 minutes of silence. Parents/guardians are welcome to attend. The older students (Grades 4 - 8) will be attending the service at the Powassan Cenotaph for the same time. So for those students, please dress for the weather as you will be standing outside for the full service. Students that are in service groups (ie. Scouts and Girl Guides) are asked to wear their uniforms to the services as well. Lest we forget.
It's Terry Fox Day at Mapleridge! Come prepared to go outside to walk/run for the fight against cancer! If you have a tattoo, please wear it. Also, it is Day 2, which means library today. Bring back books that you would like to return so you can get more! Have a great day Mustangs!
Today is Day 5, and it's the girls turn - the Intermediate Goys' Soccer team is headed to West Ferris for a tournament today! Good luck - go Mustangs go!
