Laura Ford (Benson) is a freelance photographer and writer specializing in animal, horse, pet, dog and nature photography and the writing of feature articles on the same. Laura Ford now lives in Windsor, Ontario and continues to freelance her skills as a writer and photographer, most recently for Health Focus Magazine. Although she is finding it more of a challenge finding subjects for her photography, she has been pleased by the wildlife within only a few miles of her house, such as the Bald Eagles on Peche Island in the Detroit River, and wonderful kayaking in River Canard and Lake St. Clair.
