Saroughi International Health & Fitness - Ottawa South Saroughi International Taekwon-do is the premier martial arts club in Ottawa. Headed by the 8th Dan Black Belt Taekwon-do ITF/WTF Master Saroughi, International Master Instructor and Examiner, we guarantee you’ll learn Taekwon-do as well as experience the real essence of mixed martial arts and life skills.
We provide martial arts classes to both children and adults alike (ages 4–60). We offer classes suited to: little dragons, children, family, adults/teens and seniors.
1) Fitness: Martial arts/boot camp is a great way to offer your body a head to toe cardiovascular workout. These classes will appeal to your inner health buff!
2) Self Defense: Learning martial arts can be a great lesson in street smarts and can allow you the ability to deter attacks in real life situations.
3) Competition: We teach techniques that hone the skills of our members and allow them to perform on par with the best in the world.
Taekwon-do is a form of martial arts originally from Korea which literally means “to strike with the foot and hands” also, to cultivate the mind. Not only is this sport good for fitness and a way of challenging one’s self, it also teaches discipline, humility and respect above all else.
Saroughi International Taekwon-do also offers classes such as Mixed Martial Arts, karate, kickboxing, Muay Thai and also weapons classes. With the evolution of MMA in today’s sporting world, a great number of individuals have found love in studying different disciplines to add to their base as a martial artist.
