SEW for IT! Tips_and_Hints

Thread loops on the bottom of the fabric. We still have people coming in to the store or calling about this. It seems that there is information on the internet that states the problem is with the bobbin thread and bobbin tension needs to be adjusted. DON'T DO THIS. 90% of the time, the trouble is with the TOP thread. To test this further, thread the machine with two different colours of thread (top and bobbin), in the same brand and type. SEW for IT! Tips_and_Hints

We keep getting calls on this, so here is a reminder of what to check if thread loops are seen on the bottom of the fabric when using a sewing machine. Usually, the problem is with the top thread. To verify this, re-thread the needle with the same kind of thread, in a different colour. The colour that is wrong has the problem. Well, the New Gutermann thread racks are complete. We now also have a selection of "metallic" threads as well as our Sulky and Robison-Anton "metallics." Next, new fabrics to add to put on the shelves.

We have had a busy time with thread. Our thread supply is being replenished. The Sulky threads are complete. New Guutermann thread racks have arrived and the polyester thread rack is loaded. Now working on the display rack for the cotton sewing threads.
