Three Legged Downward Facing Dog basic alignment technics to avoid common mistakes. When you start to move the lifted leg into extension the glute maximus can take over rotating the hip open. Try lifting from the inner hamstring, imagine spiralling the thigh inwards. Ground evenly through both hands and lengthen through both sides of the waist, not collapsing into the standing leg side.
