Celebrate the Rhythm of Life
I love this message. Peggy O'Mara from Mothering Magazine repeated it often. Susan Branch beautifully illustrates the point here with her watercolors.

Parent Child Classes Homemaking with the Young Child Tuesdays and Fridays Registration Begins February 1st For Parents and Children Ages Birth - 4 Tuesdays 10:15 am - 12:00 pm Fridays 10:15 am - 12:00 pm $120 for 8 week term Begins March 8th, 2016 Join us in a warm and relaxing early childhood classroom to connect with other parents and grandparents. Held in a nurturing environment with natural toys that bring out a child's imagination, families will gather to make bread, sing songs and discuss current parenting challenges. We will learn how daily household rhythms can add beauty and meaning to our home life while grinding grain and kneading warm dough into small breads in our home-like classroom kitchen. Following circle time and seasonal puppetry, we will enjoy our fresh baked bread and then have some playtime outside before we say goodbye. If your child is too young to knead or feels like playing, parents may knead the bread while the children explore our natural play area. This will be our last 8 week term until we resume in September. Parents and Big Kids Once monthly on the First Saturday from 3:00 - 4:30 For Parents and Children Ages 7 - 17 $15 per Parent Child Pair Registration is required. This class is designed just for parents with older children. Join us once a month as we share a puppet story that all ages will enjoy, sing traditional folk songs together and make a simple seasonal craft at the table. In February, we will hear the Native American Legend of Shingebiss and make a sweet Valentine's Day craft. Paper Valentines
Wee Folk Art
One of our favorite crafts because of the warm aroma that comes from ironing the crayon. She has a great idea to use brown craft paper on the top and bottom to protect your iron and table.
