The Ministry of Municipal Affairs, in partnership with the City of Orillia and Townships of Oro-Medonte, Ramara, Severn, and Springwater, will be hosting free information sessions for citizens interested in running for Council or School Board Trustee Offices in the 2018 Municipal Election. The first Candidate Information Session will take place on Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Township of Oro-Medonte’s Council Chambers, located in the Administration Centre at 148 Line 7 South, Oro-Medonte. Later on that evening, the second session will be offered from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the City of Orillia’s Council Chamber, located at 50 Andrew St. S., Orillia.
