French made fun! Building your child's French skills in a fun, exciting, camp-like setting.  This week-long intensive, all French-speaking program is designed to improve your child's French skills based on the Ontario French Curriculum. Our mission is to improve students’ French proficiency levels by encouraging the exclusive use of French at all times and by fostering creativity, learning and discovery. The program will incorporate teaching strategies into a fun, summer camp-like setting. It is suitable for all proficiency levels and will be tailored to your child's needs based on what is highlighted on the sign-up form.

The focus of the program is to encourage the use of the French language outside of the classroom. It gives children the opportunity to express themselves in the language in a less formal setting than school. When children have the chance to use the language in a more relaxed atmosphere they feel more comfortable with the language and many improvements can be seen in just a short period of time. They will feel more confident in their abilities and will get more one-on-one time in areas where they may have difficulty.

The program is run by Alysha McFee, a qualified teacher from a French Immersion background. She earned her Master's Degree in French language literature and focused her thesis project on the pros and cons of the French Immersion schooling system in Ontario.  She earned her Bachelors of Education at York University and currently teaches French at the elementary school level. She is very enthusiastic and strives on seeing students constantly improve their French abilities.
