GREAT BIG THANKS to Gordon Bonokoski, who was a huge influence on the recycling program currently in place in Lumsden today! On May 18th we celebrated the Grand Opening of the Lumsden Solid Waste Facility which incorporates the landfill, new recycle compactor and an area for reusable items. Our gratitude for Gordon's efforts will forever be remembered in the form of a commemorative plaque on the new building. Thanks to all who made it out for the grand opening!

New Solid Waste Facility (landfill & recycle) Hours - starting June 1st: Monday - Closed Tuesday - Closed Wednesday - 10am to 4pm Thursday - 5pm to 8pm (April 1st-November 1st) Friday - 1pm to 7pm Saturday - 10am to 4pm Sunday - Closed Don't forget to make use of our new "Reuse" area, drop off approved items that may be of use to someone else!
