Parks and Recreation staff will be working on the scheduled replacement of the playground equipment in Elm St. Optimist Park starting Thursday April 20th with a project finish date of May 12th. We have received funding support for the project from both the Optimist Club of Lucan and Healthy Kids Community Challenge County of Middlesex and will be replacing the playground equipment and swings, putting in a new exterior water fountain, new bike rack, and a new park bench. We are sorry for any inconvenience or added noise over this time, but we appreciate your support and understanding as we work on these exciting improvements to our community park. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Manager of Parks and Recreation at jboyer@lucanbiddulph.on.ca or call 519-227-4442. Thank you for your patience.
Did your son or daughter participate in our Wednesday night drop-in gym? We are compiling our report to council and to the Ontario Sports and Recreation Communities Fund, which helped sponsor the project. Your feedback is appreciated!
