Langenburg & District Activity Centre includes: SARCAN; a sheltered workshop; paper/cardboard recycling; and three group homes. Langenburg & District Activity Centre has been in business for over 30 years. Their goal is to offer a work oriented environment to bridge the gap between the education system and the workforce for developmentally and intellectually disabled adults. Through this, the Activity Centre provides a place to enhance the social and recreational life of these adults while providing the participants with a sense of accomplishment and personal pride.
