President of Tri-City Basketball - Mr. Imad Qahwash B.Sc/ @AdidasTop40 We are very and proud to have Adidas sponsor our top flight event in all the TRI-CITY Top 40 Camp events. This is one for the biggest camps in Canada with the inaugural TRI-CITY TOP 40 CAMP selling out in 3 days’ time! This is a booming region for basketball with a tremendous amount of support from the City of Waterloo and basketball community. RIM PARK will be holding these events, which is the creator of Blackberries and RIM PARK products. It will be held at their Sports Complex, in which they are proud to have us there. Playing Division I basketball and now Professional Basketball it is important to give back to the community and support our up and coming athletes. This is an event for years to come and with the support from RIM PARK and our community internationally. it is going to be HUGE success once again.
Our goal is to provide maximum exposure for our invited athletes to post secondary institutions on both sides of the border , while improving basketball fundamentals and providing a platform to launch their aspiring basketball careers. Murray was named SEC player of the week for the second time this season. LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kitchener's Jamal Murray has earned his second Southeastern Conference basketball freshman of the week award. The 18-year-old averaged 18.5 points and seven rebounds in the Kentucky Wildcats' victories over Arkansas and Vanderbilt. He also averaged 1.5 assists, two steals, and a block. Murray, who played for Grand River Collegiate Institute, and LSU forward Ben Simmons are the only two freshmen in the SEC to have won the award more than once this season. Murray scored 19 points and grabbed seven boards at Arkansas. Two days later, he had 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals against Vanderbilt. His 7-of-13 shooting from the floor versus Vanderbilt was his best since Jan. 9, and his 3-of-6 from three-point range was his highest since Dec. 19. Murray leads Kentucky in scoring with 17.8 points a game, the highest scoring average ever for a Wildcats player under head coach John Calipari. Eugene Jaworski
