Down There Today at 11:37am Call for Directors and Stage Managers We would just like you to know that Down There is currently recruiting Stage Managers and Directors! This is a great opportunity to get some theatre and leadership experience through running a show. Not only will you be able to direct and stage manage a show (obviously), you'll also have the opportunity to make a huge difference to the Kingston/Queen's Community. All our proceeds go towards local charities, and last year, we raised over $3000, due to the fact that we had a completely sold out run (which was a really unexpected, but nice!). The show goes up in March, and the advantage of this is that it becomes a fairly low-key and flexible commitment. The majority of people who have worked on Down There have also been involved in multiple other show(s) and extracurriculars at the same time - we in no way want to restrict you from pursuing what you're passionate about! Furthermore, it's no experience necessary - it's a learning process for everyone involved, regardless of whether they have previously done a show or not. Being a part of this show is a great way to gain the experience that'll help you succeed in future positions. To find out more about Down There, we also have a blog that hopefully answers some of your questions! http://asusdownthere.weebly.com/ If you're interested in applying, please visit: https://jobs.lever.co/asus
