Join Nancy Greene and the coveted list of “summiteers” that have reached the peak of Mt. Tod, on our sixth annual hike! It is a fun and enjoyable hike suitable for all ages where participants can travel at their own pace. Meet your "Reach the Peak" guides for an early lift load at the base of the Sunburst Lift at 9:15am, load the chair at 9:30am sharp. We recommend using the West Bowl trail and then the Tod Peak trail to access the summit, and return on Gil's trail. However you're welcome to choose your own route from our hiking map and be sure to bring one along on the hike. Make sure to bring along a few essentials: Good, comfortable hiking shoes Sun Peaks hiking map Extra socks Water Hat Rain gear Insect repellent Sunscreen Snacks and lunch Please note: This event is weather dependent and will be run so long as it's deemed safe for participants, however cancellation is a possibility if weather conditions are not on our side. *Must have a valid hiking lift ticket/pass for the day to participate. Guest Services will open at 9:00am to purchase lift tickets on July 30 or call Guest Services at 250.578.5474 for updates.

Sun Peaks Resort welcomes Trooper on Saturday, August 26, for the final installment of our 6th Annual Summer Concert Series! It goes like this: millions of records, a couple dozen hits, a Juno Award for Band of the Year and ongoing sold-out shows across Canada. Universal Music acknowledges them as "one of Canada's top five selling bands of all time" and the Vancouver Sun has called them "Canadian rock heroes of the first order ... the best performing band in Canada". Don't miss this chance to pull up a lawnchair and see them live and this free outdoor concert event. CONCERT INFORMATION: General Access area is free, no ticket required. Concerts are outdoors, rain or shine. Seating is not provided; please bring your own lawn or camping chair. Temperatures in the evening can be cooler in the mountains so bring a light coat or blanket. Sun Peaks’ Summer Concert Series is made possible by the Resort Municipality Initiative through the Province of British Columbia.
