HAPPY MOTHERS day to all the mothers out there from all of us at the golf club . That's the good news . Now for the bad news . Mother Nature has decided that the golf course needs to be closed for this special day . We are FLOODING again after all the rain ☔️. The course is closed for today and for Monday we will see how the creek rises today . This season is taking awhile to get going , so hopefully this is the last set back we have and the rest of this golf season goes well

Well Another men's night has come and gone . Only 39 brave souls came out to have a great evening of golf . So hoping hockey over soon as our numbers have not even been close to last years start . Another thing on the golf clubs agenda is the Spring fun open on May 27th . So far we don't have any entries and deadline is on the 20th . So not sure if this event will be a go . Also coming up in the month of June is our early year Cash scramble on June 11th . This is also a prepaid entry requirement . Deadline to enter will be June 4th . Need min of 16 teams . Next week will be Ladies Night on May 16 th and Men's night on May 17 th

Well what a great start to Ladies Night last night . There was 39 ladies golfing on a very nice warm evening . I hope everyone had a great time . Was nice to see some new Ladies out for the start of the season . We hope everyone that played last night returns next Tuesday as well . And hopefully some of the regulars that missed last night show up next week also . So to all you Men , the ladies are challenging men's night for numbers . Hoping to see more men out for tonight's Men's night event. It is a 6:30 pm shotgun start . Individual play with prizes for individual and team play . And if everyone is early and registered early and we start on time , you will not miss much of the Oilers playoff game . And you can watch the game upstairs on our TV and sit back and enjoy the game and a refreshment and great food . Even if you don't play in the men's night , pop on out head upstairs , relax and enjoy the game .

Good day to everyone . Here are up coming events for the golf club . On Tuesday , MAY 9th is the first Night for LADIES night . It will be a shotgun start at 6:30 pm . So please register early . Cost this year for Ladies night is $10. This will be the cost for every ladies night . This Tuesdays game will a Scramble to open the season with . So Ladies get everyone out to start this great year off . You will have shotgun starts every Tuesdays at 6:30 pm for the month of MAY . If the numbers don't stay above a 36 average we will be forced back to tee times . On Wednesday May 10 th is Men's night , 6:30 shotgun start , $10 entry . This week will be individual play . Hopefully have a larger turnout than last Wednesday. PLEASE register early so we can tee off on time !!! . Also on MAY 27th is the golf clubs annual SPRING fun tourney . It will be a 10 am shotgun start , cost is $50 per player includes 18 holes , prizes , hidden team format , and a meal . VERY IMPORTANT!! These club events are now All PREPAID entries only . And a week Deadline . So if we don't have 36 PREPAID ENTRIES by the 20th of MAY the tourney will be cancelled . This procedure is going to happen for all of the club run events . This would include the HP Open , CASH scrambles , club closing tourney .

Well golfers some news to pass on to you all . First Men's Night on Wednesday had a turnout of only 40 players . Damn hockey playoffs getting in the way lol . Hopefully numbers grow for next Wednesday . Also Remeber Ladies that Ladies Night starts next Tuesday May 9th . It will be a 6:30 pm shotgun start for now to see how numbers are ? Hopefully they can stay above the 36 or back to tee times . With the weather getting better I know lots of you are coming out to play . At this time we are having to water the greens by hand . So please be patient with the delays .

Just a few more things to add to previous post . Firstly with both Men's night and Ladies nights all tees will close at 3:30 pm. Also kitchen upstairs has not received their debit machine yet . So please bring cash for now .

Well , well Mother Nature has finally decided to cooperate a little . We opened on the weekend , was a bit slow but sold a few memberships . So as of today carts are now allowed on course . It is drying up little by little so all we ask is that you watch where you drive and be cautious please . Now announcements . First MENS NIGHT starts this Wednesday MAY 3rd . It is a 6.30 SHOTGUN start . It will be our annual opening night Scramble . Entry is the usual $10 , and PLEASE be Registered early so we can Attempt to start on time this year !!! . LADIES Night is starting their season off on TUESDAY, MAY 9 th . It will be a 6:30 Shotgun start , entry this year is $10 . Also LADIES you have to keep your numbers up to at least 35 or more to keep your shotgun start . You will have a shotgun start for month of MAY then we will see where your numbers are . If lower than 35 we will go back to tee times . So LADIES let's keep those numbers up . Also coming this month on MAY 27th will be our Fun Spring open . 18 holes , with a shotgun start at 10 am . Cost has not been finalized yet . So will post that when it happens . ALSO of great IMPORTANCE this season is all our tournaments now have a week deadline , and MUST be PRE-PAID entries only . So if entry not paid in full at least a week (7days ) ahead of tournament day you are not in . And we have set a number of entries that is required for tournament to be held . If this number is not achieved at least a week ahead of tournament date then tournament will be cancelled . This RULE applies for all club run events including the HP OPEN , and all of our CASH Scrambles , and our opening and closing tournaments . So PLEASE heed the rule and pay your entry early . No exceptions on the rule will be made . So we are open for the great 2017 season and look forward to seeing you all out at the course . Thank you from the MGM .
