Skydive SWOOP is the CLOSEST dropzone to Toronto, operating 35+ years, one of the oldest member-run not-for-profit skydiving Clubs in North America! Skydive SWOOP is one of three remaining Skydiving Clubs in Canada run exclusively by its volunteer members. As a non-profit incorporation, we elect a Board of Directors annual who administer the club. The BOD and many other volunteers run the entire operation on their own free time. None of us makes our living at SWOOP; we are there because we LOVE skydiving, and want to share it with as many as we can. So remember... be kind to us, we are there to have fun too!
SWOOP cares about training students in a safe, welcoming environment. Open since 1978, your safety is our #1 priority.
Open every weekend, holidays, Friday evenings, and by special appointment mid-week. Phone for reservations or inquiries. We are happy to assist.

Hey, who wants to skydive this Wednesday, May 11th? If you are interested, post what time you can make it out. We need to know ahead of time if we're going to ask for a NOTAM (permission to fly). We must know positively before 6:00 pm tonight. Your response will set what type of day we have. Thank you.

IMPORTANT.....As previously stated we are proceeding with Clean Up Day on Saturday April 9th from 9:00 am and the Safety Day on Sunday April 10th from 9:00am. Please wear warm clothing and boots. Natalie may have some surprise food for us and we may go out to dinner on one of those nights. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or concerns regarding this weekend. IMPORTANT......For those coming out to the Clean Up Day or Safety Day and for probably the next month please DO NOT go anywhere near the grass with your vehicle as you will get stuck and trash the grassed area.
IMPORTANT ... Unfortunately, due to an extremely bad forecast for this weekend of low temperatures, high winds and precipitation we are postponing the ‘Clean-Up Day’ to Saturday April 9th from 9:00 am and the ‘Safety Day’ to Sunday April 10th from 9:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause however we are looking for days where we can have work or meetings with the potential to jump afterwards.
