Extreme Cowboy Alberta is hosting an Introductory to Cattle Work clinic with Gary Cooper from Vermillion Alberta on June 16/17/18th This clinic is being held at Thorlakson Feed Yard the Bullpen Arena. We have 30 fresh cattle for both Saturday and Sunday. This clinic will be 3 full days of riding with 14 participants. Gary Cooper has an extensive background in roping, cutting, cow horse, and is recently got into the ranch versatility style riding. If you want to come try something fun with your horse and improve your horsemanship and riding then this is the clinic for you! Gary will work on horsemanship, work the mechanical flag, learn how to read cattle, and ultimately learn the basics of cutting and cow horse. Stalls are available for 30$ for first night $20 each additional night. Bags of shavings can be bought for $7, one bag of shavings is included in the initial price of stall Registration is available and open on the website. P.S Don't forget we have a play day and race this coming weekend, May 6/7th and entries will close Wednesday at midnight! Michelle Sylvester will be onsite with her food truck and the order of go is 8:45am walk thru with Young Guns, Novice, Green Horse, Youth, Intermediate, Non Pro, Ride Smart and Pro. Warm up will depend on the weather and lets hope the sun comes out to stay!! Giddy Up and get those entries in!
