I was hoping to do a wood firing later this week but as you can see the kiln site is still buried in snow. It's been a looooong winter.

Haven't posted much recently, but I've been churning out the pottery. Getting some absolutely stunning glazes too.

Well I had a great and productive time during my residency at Medalta, but it sure is good to be home. I'm super inspired by all the great artists I met and am excited to get back into the studio and work on some new pottery. Only another couple months until I can think about getting the wood kiln going again :) In the meantime, here are some images of some sculptures I made in Medicine Hat:

A new year brings new adventures for Wild Cove Ceramics. I'm in Medicine Hat, Alberta, for the month of January at the Medalta International Artist-in-Residence Program, where I'll be making a series of sculptures for an upcoming exhibition at the Esplanade Art Gallery.
