Good afternoon! This coming Sunday Pastor Blayne will be continuing our sermon series from the book of Galatians. The title of the sermon for this coming week is "God's Gospel." We will be looking at Galatians 1:11-24. Spend some time this week preparing your heart for what the Lord wants to speak to us through His word. We also will be celebrating the wonderful gift we have in mothers! See you Sunday at 10:30 in the Edwards Chapel.

Greetings all! One thing we forgot to mention in yesterday's "Oasis Moments" was that Pastor Andrew is taking some time off over the next couple weeks. Some of it will be "staycation" and some will be time away. Keep Andrew and Sue and the kids in your prayers as they they take this time for rest and renewal. We look forward to when they are back with us!

Bad News About The Good News

We were reminded a few weeks ago from Pastor Blayne about "Plus Ones." A plus one is any act of kindness, service, prayer, positive conversation or even a simple wave or nod can count as a plus one. Plus Ones aren't just things we do but they are also things that we receive from others. They are simple ways of showing others we love them and care for them as neighbors. This coming week why don't we all take some time and think about some intentional plus ones we can do for others around us. Remember it not just about giving but also receiving. Each little thing we do is a step towards maturity in Christ.

Good afternoon! We hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous weather we are having right now. We had a wonderful combined service with The Gathering last weekend. This coming weekend we are back in Edwards Chapel again at 10:30. It will be a great Sunday with a variety of things happening. Pastor Blayne is kicking off our new sermon series from the book of Galatians titled "The Gospel in Galatians: Nothing More. Nothing Less. Nothing Else." He will be preaching a sermon titled "The Bad News about the Good News." We also will be partaking in communion together as well as having soup and bun lunch together. Please stay after for a great time of food and fellowship. Looking forward to seeing everyone at 10:30 on Sunday. There will be no Sunday school as it has wrapped up for the summer.

Yesterday at our Men's breakfast we had a powerful prayer time for our brother Dr. David Guretzki after he shared with us about his new role at the EFC in Ottawa. He has recently accepted the position of executive vice president at the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada! We are all going to greatly miss the Guretzki's, but we rejoice in how the Lord is going to use him in this very important role for the work of the Church and ministry in Canada. Let's keep David and his family in prayer as they navigate these major life changes ahead of them. Thank you @dgprof for your many years of service and teaching and involvement in our church here in Caronport​. No matter where the Lord leads you this church and community will always welcome you back with open arms!

Good afternoon! Due to the Caronport invasion of Bible quizzers this weekend we will be having a joint service with our brothers and sisters at The Gathering. The service will be at 10:45. Pastor Andrew will be preaching a sermon from Matthew 6:25-34 titled "A Thief Named Worry." We also will be hearing from the Cuba team about their missions trip they just returned home from.There will be children's church as well up to grade 5. We hope everyone has a great rest of the week and we will see you on Sunday morning at The Landing for 10:45. Come early to get a good seat! Blessings!
