The Barkman Arena is home to the Briercrest College hockey team, and groups such as Caronport and MJ Minor Hockey, intramurals and other rentals year round The Barkman Arena is home to the Briercrest College hockey team, and groups such as Caronport Minor Hockey, Caronport Skating Club, Moose Jaw Minor Hockey, Intramurals and other rental groups year round. The Arena hosts Speed Skating and Figure Skating competitions and camps, as well as 3-on-3 Youth Hockey and Adult Spring Hockey each April-June. The Arena is used by several AAA teams in the Spring and for training and development camps throughout the Spring and Summer, including the Moose Jaw Warriors rookie camp each May.

Fitness Centre rates:

Students (Briercrest College and CHS) - paid through recreation fees (Each student receives one complimentary card during their attendance at Briercrest, replacement cards come at a cost of a $10 fee)

Community: $5/day, $30/month; $75/four months; $175/year

Staff/faculty/Seminary students: Free, with a $10 deposit for fitness card

A $10 deposit is required for fitness passes for all community and staff/faculty/seminary students.

Passes are picked up at the Arena Office; payment of cheque or cash can be made at the Arena Office, credit card payments can be a made at the Cash Counter in the Main Administration building and then bring receipt to the Arena Office to obtain Fitness Pass. Forms can be downloaded here.

"Public Skating" and "Stick and Puck" are for Briercrest students, staff and faculty and Fitness Centre members. Drop-in fees of $5 can also be paid for these ice times as well.
