The ROOF In the last few years a group of Legion people have been trying to raise funds to replace the Roof in the Legion (Dugout) They have has a Tree auction and paint night which another paint night is scheduled for May 6th . They still need assistance financially . They have been in discussions with Local retailers and Local contractors. But as anyone knows its very costly. To help and preserve some of our local heritage and history in Canora You can buy a bundle of shingles for $20. It would be a shame to loose a building due to roof damage , The Legion Br #52 has Cadets weekly and is open to anyone whom wishes to rent. I hope this great community will support these efforts. A great day at Norquay Legion
Today 4 of us attended the Zone 1 Rally in Norquay..It was outstanding, the meal and comradeship was second to none...They sure have lots of support from community and supporting area. The District Rally is scheduled for Sunday the 30 April at Kamsack Br #24 . Soup and sandwich lunch avail at 1200 Meeting at 1. PS Zone commanders visit Canora Br 052 scheduled for 30 March. Lest We Forget.
