Though it may be tempting, do not use hot water to melt ice on your vehicle's windows. A spray mixture of 10 parts rubbing alcohol to 1 part water can help. We also recommend investing in a good ice scraper. In a pinch you can always use a credit card to scrape ice from your windows...then consider using the credit card to buy an ice scraper! Looking for ways to improve fuel efficiency in this weather? Be sure to clear your wheel wells of built up snow. This helps shed excess weight from your vehicle and it gives your tires the clearance they need to move.

It sure seems like nature is playing catch-up with the weather we missed last month! If snow is in the forecast, try putting your windshield wipers up when your vehicle is parked. This will ensure your wipers don't get frozen to your windshield and makes cleaning your car off an easier task!

If you become stuck in the snow/ice, using sand below your tires can provide you with grip. This can help stop your tires from spinning. Kitty litter is also a good substitute!
