Known as the "Main Street of the South Shore", Bridgewater offers numerous amenities including restaurants, accommodations, a traditional mainstreet as well as a bustling mall, banks, regional hospital, parks, museums and recreational facilities.

Town of Bridgewater - Facade Improvement Program
BRIDGEWATER FAÇADE SOCIETY AGM The Bridgewater Façade Society will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 25, beginning at 11 a.m. in the upper level of the River Pub on King Street. A lunch (at one’s own cost) will follow at 11:30, and an open house to provide info on the program will take place after lunch. The Bridgewater Façade Society oversees a granting program that can provide up to $5,000 in matching funding for façade improvement projects for commercial buildings/businesses in the King Street Architectural Control Area. Anyone interested in the program is encouraged to attend. Applications will be available at the open house or, to learn more, visit www.bridgewater.ca/facade. The Board of Directors that oversees the Façade Society is also currently looking for new members! If you have an interest in serving on the board, please attend the AGM!

TRAFFIC NOTICE -- PLEASANT STREET (MONDAY) Please be advised, the following section of street will be closed to facilitate repair work to the granite rock wall at 150 Pleasant Street: PLEASANT STREET, from Victoria Rd. to Empire St., on Monday, May 22, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This section of street will be closed to through traffic until work is complete. Local traffic only will be permitted. The Town of Bridgewater regrets any inconvenience caused to residents and businesses.

Aberdeen Green is a special park in Bridgewater that receives some extra TLC from the Community Gardens Co-ordinator and volunteers. Keep an eye on the new plantings in the huge pollinator garden, as they grow and bloom this summer and watch out for promotions on events and other activities taking place in the park's, Hodge Podge Garden. All are welcome to enjoy this special place in Town.
