We start our new week of with some young talent! Continuing with our artisan trend, meet Jenna who runs her own company Sew Fun for Dolls + You. I am currently 13 years old and LOVE to sew! I started sewing with my grandmother when I was 8 yrs old. I was able to take private sewing lessons for a year before I ventured out on my own. I love to sew with my aunt as well who has inspired and encouraged me to master items that I love - my 18" dolls! I love everything that has to do with sewing or my American Girl dolls. I hope you enjoy these products as much as I have enjoyed sewing them for you. I also have an interest in sewing bedding for myself. As a foster and adoptive mom, I have developed a passion for understanding and supporting families with disabilities, especially Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Many children struggle with falling asleep and staying asleep. this is challenging for the child and parents alike! A few years ago I started making weighted blankets to help little ones feel snug and secure in their beds and experience better sleep. My blankets are now available at Megs + Clarke.
