3 Reasons Protein Is Key To Getting The Lean, Strong Body You Want | Redefining Strength
Often the best nutrition plan that will work for you is one that keeps things simple. Stick to good protein and vegetables. And fill in some meals with either healthy fats or carbs necessary for energy and activities. Let's start by focussing on protein. Try and make it a habbit of eating some with every meal. "Protein is key to getting the lean, strong body you want for these 3 reasons: 1. Protein is made up of amino acids aka the building blocks of muscle tissue. 2. Protein has a high thermogenic effect meaning you actually burn more calories to process protein. 3. Protein helps keep you feeling fuller for longer so you don’t have to feel like you’re starving while eating well" https://redefiningstrength.com/3-reasons-protein-is-key-to-getting-the-lean-strong-body-you-want/ So set up a habit of consuming more protein if you are low, and keep it simple, grocery shop, prep, and eat.

First 3.5 minutes of this video. Mature language warning. In my fitness studio I put on the wall "Success starts with you." And no matter what you want to get out of life it starts and stops with you. Have a great weekend everyone! Keep working towards your goals!

A shout out for everyone right now. I have been seeing so many people working hard and making progress. I can't choose or single anyone out right now. You are all killing it. As I left class this morning, I was literally thinking this exact thing

What do you want? I first saw this advertisement on TV 1 week ago. I have an achilles heel for dairy Queen. This blizzard honestly brings happiness to me every time I see the TV commercial... it is funny how we are wired as humans emotionally, and that is why we can often be weak when it comes to food and choices. A quick fix of ice cream brings instant satisfaction. Ice cream is great and should be enjoyed, but for me it is not on my plans for the next 3 months. I have goals on my mind! But at least once a week I do have a treat, and the best part is it completely works with getting a lean shredded body. I take my Ninja blender, I put in 2 scoops of all natural peanut butter, 1 scoop of chocolate milkshake protein powder, 1 pinch Cocoa powder, water, ice cubes, and blend. If you want it to taste creamier you can put in unsweetened almond milk instead of water. Yum! Keep striving for your goals, JEZ

How WWE’s “Big Show” Lost 70 Pounds and Transformed His Body
Even athletes who train many hours per week cannot outrun or outwork a poor diet. The Big Show put in the commitment and it shows. Also great to point out that at the end of the day you need to find out what works for you... Some people can include a variety of foods, some people need to cut out certain foods ( wheat, sugar, dairy). But at the end of the day if you are committed to your goal you can get there. I have many people right now locked into their nutrition, and these people have discovered what balance works for them, and are starting to shred some fat while eating plenty of nutritious food. With a couple months to go until summer, I, as well as others, are looking forward to the warmer weather. It is time to reignite my fire. I have put my body and mind on cruise control the last 3 weeks (a well deserved and often necessary break). But it is time to turn up the heat. "A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence." James N. Watkins One last push before I compete June 24th. I am not going for perfection. That is a competition I will lose time and time again. But I will prove to myself that discipline and hard-work yield results. Let's rock, Joe 'JEZ' Zamojski
