"ร้านต้นน้ำ" Ton nam restaurant for their amazing grilled river prawns. Really a complete dining experience, sitting on a floating barge on the river for the freshest seafood around. It's as succulent as it's drool-worthy. Incredible grilled flavour, tender with a natural "butter" from the head that is incomparable to anything on earth! Of course, complimented with a common seafood sauce on the side for dipping, adding some tang, sweetness and sourness to each bite. Our meal at "สมบูรณ์โภชนา" (Somboon Seafood) was one of the best on this trip so far. The curry crab is a "MUST GET", and we completely agree. The "ศาลหลักเมือง" Bangkok City Pillar Shrine is located across from the Grand Palace and is open from 7am to 8pm most days and is free to enter. Locals seek blessings from this shrine for luck, success and happiness life as well as the granting of wishes. This is definitely a popular prayer temple for locals and not too touristy at all.
