Music we can't live without! Bar-a-Bar was een kleine club in het hartje van Sint-Truiden waar vooral vocal-house centraal stond. Ondanks de kleine capaciteit +- 200 personen, groeide deze club op korte termijn uit naar een vaste waarde in het Belgische clublandschap. Dit mede door de resedenties van gekende namen zoals Jean Delaru, Mr Grammy, Delriva, Christophe, David en gekende guests zoals Philip (Carat, Illusiion, La Rocca), Marko (La Rocca), Wout (Illusion) en Stefan (Carat). Zoals bij alle mooie liedjes, kwam ook hier een einde aan en in 2005 moest Bar-a-Bar noodgedwongen zijn deuren sluiten! Het sluiten van de club was daarbij zeker nog niet het einde van de hype want in de daaropvolgende jaren bleek 'Bar-a-Bar' bij velen nog in het hart te zitten. Daarom besloten 4 vrienden de club nieuw leven in te blazen door het organiseren van de nu al befaamde Bar-a-Bar reunions. Tijdens zeer succesvolle clubedities bleek de aanhang voor dit sub-genre van de housemuziek nog steeds zeer groot te zijn, met uitverkochte feesten als resultaat. Toen de capaciteit in de clubs echter te klein geworden was besloten de organisatoren om zich te verplaatsen naar de Ethias. Een succes zo bleek want 2 keer op rij werd het feest compleet uitverkocht. Momenteel zijn worden er terug club-edities gehouden en staat dit concept al 2 jaar op rij als vaste waarde op Extrema-Outdoor Belgium.
